Non-NHS Services (private work)

Patients should be aware that fees are charged for services not covered by the NHS contract. The details of these fees are available on request from reception.

Non NHS services include private medical certificates, reports supporting private health insurance claims and other non-NHS reports. Medical reports and examinations for insurance companies are usually paid by the insurance company concerned.

Fees are also charged for other special purposes such as HGV and PSV licences, fitness to travel, fitness to undertake sport and pre-employment medicals. Please contact us if you want to know the price for a certain piece of private work.

If you decide to seek a referral for private treatment we strongly recommend reading this information from the LMC INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS ATTENDING PRIVATE HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

HOUSING APPLICATIONS

Please note that we no longer provide letters in support of Housing Applications. This is because social work have said that they are not required.
